Chinese Brush Painting Workshop

Brief description of workshop:

This workshop will introduce you to the essence of Chinese brush painting. You will be shown how to paint bamboo, birds, blossoms, flowers, butterflies and other images using classic Chinese brush painting techniques. 

Requirements:

  • Chinese painting brush (available from tutor approximately $5)
  • set of watercolour tubes
  • scrap book (newsprint/butcher’s paper)
  • low water container (margarine tub)
  • two white saucers (as palette)
  • cotton cloth (old tea towel)
  • small cup (for Chinese tea)
  • own lunch and water bottle.

*Left handers welcome.
