“The Magic of Release”      Acrylic Painting/Tracing/Stenciling Workshop

This workshop is good for all levels but will be especially good as an introduction to painting or for those who just want to have fun and be creative!

Brief description of workshop: In this workshop, we will be using a combination of tracing, stenciling and free hand acrylic painting on canvas in layers and layers to intuitively create a beautiful painting of butterflies and flowers. This day is all about relaxing, ‘letting go’ and having creative fun with no need for a specific outcome - Making this the perfect workshop for you, even if you have never painted before.

Requirements:  Could participants please bring:

A canvas 14”x18” (36cmx46cm) prepped with gesso or white paint

Brushes – a variety of brushes including some flat brushes for stenciling

A pen and a pencil

Water jar for washing your brushes and for ‘loosening up’ the paint

A sheet of black carbon paper

Palettes or plastic plates

Plastic tablecloth to cover the table

If you have acrylic paints and/or stencils you would like to use, please feel free to bring them with you.

   Your own lunch, water bottle and other refreshments if required.

Supplied: Mont Marte Dimension paints in colours – turquoise or similar blue, pink, violet, orange, medium yellow, brilliant red, monastrel green, black and white for use on the day.
