I create mixed media paintings, pencil drawings and recycled materials in jewellery making.

My paintings are basically created by the use of dyes, PVA glue, turps, metho, crayons, acrylic and oil paints. The landscapes are of a fantasy genre where the act of mark making creates unusual surfaces. Then I work into these to create the landscape. My drawings are based on my paintings. Photos are taken then manipulated in Photoshop to a pencil sketch. Sections are then redrawn where I see creatures. The landscape shape still remains.
