I love to work in pastels on paper or board to create that connection between my subject and you the viewer. Whilst most of my work is commissioned and is mostly of our more domestic friends, when I have the chance I love to create that connection with some of the worlds more wild creatures. It sometimes amazes me how much we really are connected.

My 3 piece series on "Friends" was all about connections, the need to be connected. "New Friends", two juvenile Chimps who become friends clinging to one another for comfort. "Good Friends", two Lions connecting on the next level showing a connection deeper than that of friends, a real affection. "Old Friends", with the wisdom of their years these two Elephants have a bond that knows no time limits.
