Florence - Who am I?
A lover of art and all creativity who believes we all have it in us to create. Even those who think in straight lines. I completed year ten at high school and went on to study art at TAFE NSW a life time ago.
My work life took a different direction and for a long time my energies have gone into raising my children and creating a home life. It is only in the past few years that I have been able to put time aside for my passion of art and animals.
I love working with all mediums but I must admit I love the way the pastels work when completing my pet portraits. It always seems to bring them to life. Each little one spends 17 hours looking back at me, helping me to capture their personality. Sometimes I have to admit it is hard to send them home but the joy I see in their owners eyes as they see their little mate peering back at them is priceless.
I believe we should all take time to do what we have a passion for, I hope you too make a little time to feed your soul, develop the gifts you are given and get the opportunity to share them as I have been given the chance. XXX
